Journalist in pursuit of the courage and knowledge necessary to challenge the world’s injustices. Supports any movement attempting to undermine the political and religious right.
Applying the wisdom of neohumanist, Buddhist, and Sufi moral, religious philosophy to a world beyond Nirvana’s and Jannah’s shores.
About: After training with the Press Association in London I spent some time as a news & politics contributor at the Daily Confidential (TDC). Founded Reading University’s Atheist, Humanist, and Secularist Society, and was president of its Buddhist Society, while studying BA Philosophy. Represented the National Federation of Atheist, Humanist, and Secular Student Societies (AHS) for a little while longer, before bringing my rare perspective as one of the few Jewish anti-Zionists around to the Times of Israel and the Slough branch of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
After leaving the AHS, understandably, I expanded my intellectual interest in Buddhism to include Sufism and other mystic traditions, specifically ones that emphasise an inner relationship with the Highest Being and Infinite. While my focus was always more on the humanism and secularism, I thought a reorientation of my priorities was due.
I also use my time to help a local Scouts’ organisation, and am in what is essentially teacher-training at East Berkshire College, in order to become an early years practitioner.
